A much requested feature for <a href="http://www.machsoftwaredesign.com/weather.html">Mach Weather</a>, metric unit support, has been submitted to Apple and should be available in about 3 days. We've also changed the layout of it to make it a little more user friendly. A Mach Desktop update should also be available in about 3 days, which adds several Aquarium and Fireplace videos. We went to one of the world's top aquariums and shot some of the finest aquarium videos you will ever see, we hope you enjoy the new version as much as we do. So now in addition to beautiful places such as beaches and waterfalls, you will have an even bigger choice and more convenience with these new videos built in. <a href="http://www.machsoftwaredesign.com/desktopnew.html">Click here to check out some of the new videos!</a><br /></p><br /><br /><p>We've also been listening to feature requests for Mach Clock very closely, and rest assured, they are coming! It's still fairly young so we couldn't get to everything immediately. So far the biggest requests are people want to change the number of world clocks, and see the time in plain view under the world clocks. We also understand that people are having some issues with the "Transparent" digital world clocks. We are quite aware of these minor nuisances (AM/PM, white clock face on white window, etc) and changes are on the way. If you have any suggestions, comments, and/or problems with Mach Clock; we can't always read every review so please contact us!</p><br /><br /><p>As well as keeping our applications up to date, we are always working on new apps. There are several exciting things going on and we always want to stay on the cutting edge. Apps with a humanistic front end but a strong data back end, more humanistic user interfaces, etc; we're very excited about what the future holds. One thing that impressed us a lot was <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WFR3lOm_xhE">IBM's Watson</a>, which completely obliterated Jeopardy's contestants using purely natural language and a huge built in database of collegiate level information. We just don't understand why it took so long for something like this come to fruition. But in any case this is a good example of more natural interaction with extremely advanced artificial intelligence.
